The first hour of 2012 saw us at Rix’s sister’s residence where we ushered in the new year with fireworks and a glass of bubbly.
I have no resolutions for 2012. I just want to be the best wife and mommy that God has designed me to be. I aim to “bloom where I am planted”.
Watching the fireworks video I took using my iPhone, Katy Perry’s song came to mind.

And then on January 1st, we just planned to drop by my parents’ place after lunch. But it didn’t happen since we had a late one with another couple and their small family, which ended right before dinnertime. We opted to buy drive-thru for dinner and just catch more rest at home.
Happenings and goals for the year 2012 include:
- Planning my youngest’s dedication + 1st birthday party
- Hopefully, I’ll still be breastfeeding her by then.
- Also, we’re waiting for Caleb to finally talk.
- Elle might start Kinder I in June. Got to be prepared for more schoolwork!
- As the kids grow, I wish there’d be more chances of our family going on out-of-town trips.
- I aim to read more to the children, including the Bible.
- I also want to organize their pictures and have the nice ones printed.
As we all work toward our goals for the new year, I hope that we would be able to make fonder memories filled with love. May 2012 be meaningful and littered with dreams that come true!
